IMPROVEMENT IN IRONING- MACHINES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 1 62,854, dated May 4, 1875 3 application filed February 5, 1875.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I,,GEORGE F. PERRENOT,
of Roekport, in the county of Aransas, Texas,
have invented new and useful Improvements in Ironing-Machines, of which the following is a specification The invention will first be fully described,
and then pointed out in the claims.

i A represents the reciprocating iron carrying-frame, which is mounted on the wheels B,
running on therails O, which are connected in a frame, one above another, by the rods D,
and arranged to shift up and down in ways in uprights and the rods. M represents the tog gle-bars for raising and lowering the rails They are connected together to be worked in unison by the bar N, which is connected to lever O-by the rod P, and the lever O is connected to the shifting-lever Q, to be worked by the operator, said lever being arranged at i the front of the table where the operator stands, and it has a catch-bar, R, to hold it in the different positions.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent p 1. 'The combination oi' the reciprocating frame A, vertically-adjustable rail-frame 0, posts E, and the ironing-table, substantially as specified.
2. The overhanging arms F, vertically-adjustable rods H, springs J, iron G, and the ironing-table, substantially as specified.
3. The toggle-bars M, bar N, rod P, and levers O Q, combined and arranged with thevertically-adjustable rail-framc and the ironingtable, substantially as specified.
