My invention relates to improvements in the design and construction of avliolder for razor blades (laminar type, or very thin compared with length and breadth) hav'- ing two cutting or shaving edges opposite to each other, and provided With, means (perforations), practiced in tlienifor relative location in the razor (safety razor), as in the Gillette (trade-name) safety razor and the like.
With this my `design and construction of a holder for Gillette (trade-name) safety razor blades, trie aforesaid shaving blade can be located relatively to the holder in the saine manner as located relatively to the YGillette (trace-name) safety razor, interloclred to the holder by mechanical means as will be shown and explained in ythis specification; and While so firmly held in said holder, the vblade can be resharpened by means of strapping or honing its cutting edges, after being chilled through use in shaving; and in the very same Way, or manual process, as used by an artisan' barber when he vresliarpens his razors of the manual type, by longstrokes of reciprocating character with the sides of the cutting edge of the blade, bearing upon a stretched Yand Vheld taut leather strapv used for 4this purpose, or by honing the sides ofV the cutting edge f the blade uponabrasive materialu stones (commonly called bones) and by the same manual process used by the aforesaid artisan barber in the performance of these manual processes of sharpening hisrazors. 7
The usefulness of this my constructionof a holder for laminar razor blades as set forth above is selfV evident as ali users of such types' of proving the cutting or shaving qualities of 4their razors (safety razors), VGillettes (trade-name) safety razors specially, by adequate, easy and simple manual methods'of eitlierfstrapping or honing the blades they use, Wit-hout the necessity of employing expert operators and complex or ineflicient mechanical contrivances actually dispensed and made use of for the purposes as set forth heretofore. j'
The following is a detailed description of my laminar razor blade holder of the type and character as heretofore mentioned:

F rom the foregoing enumeration it can be explained:
Tvihen laminar blade l5 has been inserted in its recess ll in frame l, and relatively located therein by locating pins l, While rotating member 2 is in open position as shown in Eig. 4, the rotating member 2 can be rotated about pivot pin 3, swung under or into recesses lO and ll in trame l, and thereon held by formed ends i3 and l2 respectively of rotating member 2 until axial coincidence ot both' trame l andl rotating member 2 permits the introduction of plunger 6 into aligned bore 9 ol rotating member 2 and' Vso cause an interlocking` of 'trame l, rotating member 2 and laminar blade l5; and that While'in this state ot inte1'-relation Yot' above mentioned parts or letails of the to the explanations as' therein set forth and stated, I do claim:
