The invention will first be hereinafter more particularly described with reference to the accompanying drawings, which are to be taken as a part of this specification and then pointed out in the claims at the end of the description. Ordinary extensible curtam poles or rods 7 and tens'ioned shade rollers8', are rigidly sustained in proper position along the top of the window frame by m'eansofmy improved end and intermediate curtain and shade sup-porting brackets 9 and '10 (respec'tively, the latter being of substantially the same construction as the former, though slightly modified in form to provide intermediate rather than end supports for the curtain rods. Said bracket-s for purposes of economy, are preferably stamped out of' sheet metal and bent angular'ly to the form shown, although they may if desired, be

formed as solid castings.

Referring to Figs. 2 to 4 inclusive, in

which the fixtures are illustrated in 00- operant relation to each other, the end brackets 9 as shown, are of angulariform having vertical main body sections with mtegral horizontal plate portions 9 and apertured receiver arms or sleeves 9" ex tended laterally from opposite sides thereof at top and bottom respectively, the same be ng fashioned in; reverse corresponding relation for right and left *sides of the window frame. Open 'ende'd slots or detents 9 are provided in the upper marginal edge of the main body sections to accommo'date either the journal "or reeling-pin of a shade roller, and spaced upright pins or keys 9 are formed or fixed on the outer surfaces of the plate portions 9*, to provide extremital fastening and support means for curtain rods, although other fastening means may if preferred, be employed.

Adjustable reach-arms or members '11 of angular form, are sli'dably fitted within the extended sleeves 9, said members being slotted to permit single holding screws 12 to be unobstructivel-y passed therethrough, the latter being inserted through said apertured sleeves, and serving the dual purpose of set-screw and securing means for the brackets in their respective places upon the window frame with the angular members 11 of each bracket in stablizing complementary contact with the frame moulding as shown in Fig. 1. v

The intermediate brackets 10 as shown, are of substantially the same construction as the end brackets above described, the latter being formed with main body sections having integral horizontally projecting arm or ledge portions 1O and horizontal receiver arms or sleeves 10 corresponding with the sleeves 9" of the end brackets 9, extended laterally therefrom at top and bottom respectively, said brackets being fashioned in reverse corresponding relation for right and left sides of the mullions of a window frame. Open ended slots or detents 10 corresponding. with the slots 9 in said end brackets, are provided in the upper marginal edges of the main body sections to accommodate either the journal or reeling-pin of a shade roller and spaced similar slots or detents 10 are provided in the upper marginal edges of the projecting arms or ledges 1O" to receive the curtain rods 7 said arms for such purpose being substituted for the laterally extended plate portions 9 of the end brackets 9, in order to provide intermediate supports for said rods.

Reach-arms or members 11 and holding screws 12 are also provided for the intermediate brackets which are secured in place upon the mullions of the frame in the same manner as the end brackets.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Let ters Patent of the United States is:

1. A combined curtaina'od and shade-roller supporting bracket of angular form having a main body section with horizontally extended sleeve and article-supporting portions at bottom and top thereof respectively, said body portion being slotted to receive the journal or reeling-pin of a shade-roller and said article-supporting portion being adapted to receive and hold curtain rods, an angular member extensibly fitted in said sleeve and a screw adapted to pass there through for securing the bracket in place upon a window frame with said angular member in engagement with the moulding thereof.

2. A combined window curtain and shade fixture comprising an angular bracket formed with a main body section having integral horizontally extended sleeve and article-supporting portions, said body section being slotted to IQCQlX'e the journal or reeling-pin of a shade-roller and Said article supporting portion being adapted to receive and hold spaced curtain rods, an angular reach-arm extensibly fitted in said sleeve and adapted to stabilizing complementary engagement with the moulding of a window frame, together with a single screw passing through said sleeve and said extensible member for holding the b 'acket rigidly in place upon a window frame.

3. Combined window curtain-rod and shade-roller supporting brackets of angular form having vertical main body sections with integral horizontally extended sleeve and article-supporting portions. said body sections having open-ended slots for receiving the journals or reeling-pins of shade rollers and said article-supporting portions being adapted to receive and hold spaced curtain rods. angular members extensibly fitted in said sleeve portions and adapted to stabilizing complementary contact with the moulding of a window frame, together with single screws passing through said sleeve portions and said extensible members for rigidly securing-the respective brackets in place with said members in contact with the frame moulding.
