An important object of theinvention the provision of a trackway which maybe adjusted vertically,` eliminating the' necessity of moving the main or bodyportion of the supports, in order to make the necessary adjustments for the maintenance of the track rails inzproper parallel 'relation with each other, due consideration being given to the strength and durability of the trackway.

A further object of the invention is the provision of means whereby the height and inclination of the trackway may be changed to facilitate the use of thet'rackway with Y varying tide and water conditions.
