A projectile device designed for being thrown off from elevated positions, particularly from aircrafts, comprising a projectile proper provided at its front end with a cavity containing at its bottom a provision of an explosive allowing safe handling of the projectile, a fuse member adapted to cause ignition of the explosive of the projectile when inserted in the front cavity of same, holding or suspension devices for said projectile and said fuse member and means adapted to insert the fuse member into the front cavity of the projectile and further means for normally closing the cavity of the projectile forpreventing unintentional entering of the fuse member into said cavity, both the actuating means'for'inserting the fuse member into the projectile cavity and the cavity closing door cooperating with the suspension device for the projectile and actuated thereby in dependence from each other in such manner that the cavity closing door is opened for the entrance of the fuse member only immediately before the release of the'projectile takes place.
3. A projectile device designed for being thrown off from elevated positions, particuparly from aircrafts, comprising a projectile proper provlded at its front end with a cavity containing at its bottom a provision of an explosive allowingsafe handling of the projectile, a fuse member adapted when inserted in front cavity of the projectile proper to cause on impact of the projectile ignition of its explosive charge, holding or suspension devices for said projectile and said fuse member and means cooperating with the holding device for the projectile adapted to insert the fuse member into the front cavity of the projectile and to withdraw it therefrom on actuation of the suspension device iii-opposite directions.
4. A projectile holding or suspension de vice comprising a reciprocating holding member for a projectile proper, a holder or guide for a fuse member, and a fuse actuating member in operative connection with said reciprocating projectile holder adapted to displace a fuse within said guide substantially parallel to the direction of movement of the reciprocating member. a
5. A projectile holding or suspension device comprising a reciprocating holding member for projectile proper, a guideway and holder fora fuse member for the projectile arranged substantially parallel to the direction of movement of the reciprocating member, a fuse actuating member adapted to displace a fuse within said guideway, a slide gate arranged transversely to said guideway, the fuseactuating member and the slide gate both in operative connection with the reciprocating projectile holding member and so coordinated to each other that the slide gateis withdrawn from the area of the guideway when the fuse actuatingmember advances towards the gate.
