To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLES E. BONYATA,
a citizen of the United States, residing at Grinnell, in the county of Poweshiek and 6 State of Iowa, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Bubble Forming and Blowing Devices; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact.

In the drawing above briefly described which illustrates the preferred form of construction, the numeral 1 designates a substantially flat pump casing which may well be supported upon suitable legs 2, the lower side'of said casing bein shown as formed with an air inlet eye 3. gupported upon the casing 1, I have illustrated a vertical electric motor 4 whose shaft 5 extends intosaid casing and is provided with a pumprotor 6. The motor may be secured upon the casing 1 in any desired manner, but I have shown it provided with an outstanding flange 7 through which attaching bolts 8 pass.
Upon the upper end of the motor shaft 5, I have illustrated a fan 9 surrounded by a guard 10 which is supported by the motor 4. A liquid tank 11 is provided to contain the liquid from which the bubbles are to be formed and in the present showing, this tank is supported upon the guard 10, to one side of the fan axis. This tank may be provided with any suitable filling cap or the like 12, with a bubble outlet 13; and with an air inlet 14. This inlet is connected by a pipe 15 with the pump casing 1 and a suitable valve 16 is provided in said-pipe to control the amount of air passing therethrough. If desired, the pipe 15 may alsobe' provided witha check valve (not shown) to prevent any liquid from running therethrough, from the tank 11, if the valve 16 is inadvertently left open when the device is not'in op ration.
In operating the device, the liquid is placed in'the tank 11 and themotor 4c is set into operation. The pump rotor 6 forces a current of air up through the pipe 15 into the liquid in the tank 11, to aerate the latter and form bubbles, which bubbles escape through the bubble-outlet 13 and are caught by the upward draft of air from the' fan 9, so that they are blown from the device, thereby producing a very distinctive display for advertising purposes.
As excellent results are obtainable from the details disclosed, they may well be followed, but within the scope of the invention as claimed, numerous changes may be made.
I claim:
1. A bubble forming device comprising a pump casing, a motor supported thereon, a pump rotor in said casing connected with the motor shaft, a fan on the upper end of said motor shaft for directing a current of air upwardly, a liquid tank having a bubble outlet over said fan, and an air pipe from said pump casing into said liquid tank to admit air into the latter and form bubbles for discharge through said bubble outlet into the air current.
