Be it known that I, MANVILL M. MACDON- ALI), of Syracuse, Onondaga county, New York, have invented Improvements in Hernia-Trusses and Abdominal Supporters, of which the following is a specification:

My invention consists of coil-wire springs continued into arms or levers, and formed into bows and loops, for attachment of pads by screws and washers, or other fastenings.

The free ends of the coil-wire pass into the holes in the rim of the clamp, with a set-screw for adjustment.

By reference to the drawings, Figure 1 represents the combined truss, which is perfectly adjustable, and graduates the pressure of the springs, and gives uniform central and oscillating action to the .pads and supporter at- .e, to control the coil-springs and their attachments.
