To all whom t may concern.;
Be it known that we, COLIN R. WALco'r'r and WALTER J. PIKE, citizens of the United States, residing at Newaygo, in the county of A l Newaygo and State of Michigan, have invented new and useful Improvements in Vibratile Screens, of which the following isa specification.
The present invention relates to vibratile screens; and its object is, generally, to
'provide improved means for supporting such screens; and, more particularly, to provide l means for yieldingly supporting the middle portion of the `screen independently of, l5 and movably relatively to, the means which supports its edges; and further, to provide improved means for stretchingly mounting such screens; and further,lto provide improved means for preventing leakage at the edges of such screens; and'turther, to provide improved means for preventing the breaking oi such screens adjacent the mounting thereof.
These and any other objects hereinafter appearing are attained by, andthe invention finds preferable embodiment in, the structure hereinafter particularly described in the body of this specification and illustrated by the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a iront view of a vibratile screen structure;

Screws 17 threaded in the frame and passing through the member' 13 serve to stretch the screen to a desired tautnepss, the lower edge portion 16 of the member 13 sliding along the shelf portion 12 of the ira-me toward the frames other portion 15, and the upper edge portion 14 of said member sliding along the inner vsurface of the portion 15 of the frame and away iironiits shelf portion 12, as the screw 17 isscrewed down.
