Be it known that I, WILLIAM G. McGmnn, a citizen of the United States, residing at St. Louis inthe county of St. Louis and State of Missouri, have invented new and useful Improvements in Shoe Polishers, of which the following is a specification;
' This invention relates to daubers for shoe wherein Figure 1 is a view in elevation of the da-uber constructed in accordance with the present invention.

. he dauber essentially consists of a container 10 preferably of cylindrical formation in cross section, and which container is of a size to permit of its being conveniently handled for the purpose intended. The container is reduced and threaded at one end as at 11, and screwed onto this end of the container is -a cap 12 including a conical shaped portion 13 which .terminates to provide an annular flange 14, and the edge of which extends inwardly as at 15 for a purpose to be presently described -Garried by the cap 12 and disposed Within the latter is a substantially conical shaped member 16 which forms a support for the olish or paste 17, and at the same time de nes a restricted outletopening therefor, the paste being fed through the bristles of the dauber through this. opening as will be readily understood; Supported by the cap 13 is aslide valve 13' adapted to control the discharge of the contents of the container as will be readily understood. While it is going description, the nature and advantages of the invention will be readil apparent, I desire to have it understo that I do not limit myself to what is herein shown and described, and-that such changes may be resorted to when desired as .fall within the scope of what is claimed.
