In the use of my improved brackets, it will be understood that the parts 13 and 14 will'bemade up in lefts and rights and constitute a pair and in assembling the parts thereof, and mounting the same in posi- 7 tion, the parts '13 are-first mounted in con nection with the parts 12 and after which the parts l t are mounted in connection 7 with the parts 12 as hereinbefore set out and the separate brackets thus assembled are mounted in connection with the frame work of the window or the top plate 10 thereof, it being understood that the brackets are adjusted to the desired position to receive and support a shade roller 24 of predetermined length and the parts 1 1 are adju'stabl mounted in the parts 12, or may be exten ed laterally in opposite directions to support curtain poles of the deslred length.
"With my improved device, it will be apparent that the m'arring or defaclng of the woodworlrof a window frame or the hke, isobviated and I provide a simple and yet strong and durable method of mounting shade rollers and curtain poles in con- 7 nection with a window frame or other support and while I have shown certain details of construction for carrying my invention into eifect and have lllustrated a specific use of'my invention, it will .be understood that I am not necessarily limited in theserespects and various changes in and modifications of the construction herein shown and described may be made with- ,in' the scope of the appended claims without departing from the spirit of my invention or sacrificing its advantages,
Having fully described my invention, what I claim as newand desire to secure by-Letters Patent, is
1. A bracket device of the class described, comprising'three sheet metal parts, one of said" parts being of unitary construction substantially disk-shaped inform and provided with an outwardly pressed portion forming .a chamber opening outwardly through the rear face thereof, said outwardly pressed portion being provided centrally thereof with an elongated aperture, the opposite side walls of said outwardly pressed portion being provided with other apertures, said part being provided with an upwardly, backwardly and downwardly directed extension, by means of which the same may be mounted in connection with a suitable support, and the other parts of said bracket being detachably mounted in connection with said first named part, one of said parts passing through the elongated aperture and the other through the second named apertures of the first mentioned part.
2. A bracket device of the class described. comprising three sheet metal parts, one of said parts being of unitary construction substantially disk-shaped in form and provided with an outwardly pressed portion forming a chamber opening outwardly through the rear face thereof, said outwardly pressed portion being apertured centrally thereof with an elongated aperture, the opposite side walls of said outwardly pressed portion being provided with other apertures, said part being provided with an upwardly, backwardly and downwardly directed extension by means of which the same may be mounted in connection with asuitable support and another of said parts being substantially T-shaped in form and being adapted to be passed through the elongated aperture of said first named part for detachably connecting said part with said first named part, said last named part extending outwardly at right angles to the first named part and being provided with means for receiving and supporting the shanks of a shade roller.
3. A bracket device of the class described, comprising three sheet metal parts, one of said parts being of unitary construction substantially disk-shaped in form and provided with an outwardly pressed portion forming a chamber opening outwardly through the rear face thereof, said outwardly pressed portion being provided centrally thereof with an elongated aperture, the opposite side walls of said outwardly pressed. portion being provided with other aper tures, said part being provided with an upwardly, backwardly and downwardly directed extension by means of which the same may be mounted in connection with a suitable support and another of said parts being substantially T-shaped in form and being adapted to be passed through the elongated aperture of said first named part for detachably connecting said part with said first named part, said last named part extending outwardly at right angles to the first named part and being provided with means for receiving and supporting the shanks of a shade roller, and the other of said parts being substantially L-shaped in form and adapted to be passed through presence of the subscribing Witnesses this the other apertures by said first named part 25th day of August 1922. and to extend at right angles to said first named part and provided with means for ALONZO PAGKER' 5 supporting a curtain pole or poles thereon.
