IMPROVEMENT IN NECK-TIE HOLDERS.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Ezan A. JOHNSON, of St. Louis, St. Louis county, Missouri, have invented a certain Improved Neck-Tie Holder,
of which the following is a specication:
This invention consi sts iu forming the holder of a triangular-shaped sheet of metal or other material, having a vertical slot extending some distance upward from the lower edge at the center, the sides of which engage the collarbutton to secure the holder in position. The sides or wings of the holder lie under the folds of the collar, and it is held in position thereby. rThe holder is provided with inclined slots near its inclined edges, and a slot near its top edge, through which the tie is passed to form a bow, the side slots being also intended for the passage of the tie in some form of bows.
In the drawings, Figure l is a front view, showing the holder-plate in position. Fig. 2 is a front view of the holder.
The holder-plate A, of triangular shape, is formed with a central vertical slot, a, extending upward from the lower corner, and which embraces the collar button B, to secure the holder A in place, in conjunction with the folds c of the collar, under which the upper corners or wings D of the holder A rest.
