To allywitom concern: I Be it known that I, JEREMIAH J. sem- NELL, a citizen of the United States, residing at Detroit, in the county of Wayne and State of Michigan, have invented a new and useful Portable Shower-Bath Fixture, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to portable shower bath fixtures, and more particularly to,

shower bath fixtures adapted for quick detachable connection to a bath tub.

' It is the object of the invention to provide a novel means for quick detachably mounting in proximity to a bath tub an upright water pipe providing'a supply connection from the faucet of the tub to a spray'head carried by the upper portion of said pipe.

The use of a flexible connection from the faucet to said pipe, permitting ro-tative adjustment of the latter to position the spray head centrally of the hub, is a further feature of the invention.

A preferred embodiment of the invention is hereinafter described and is illustrated in the accompanying drawing, wherein,

At a point'zdiametrically opposite said set screw a pair of divergent and upwardly V inclined prongs 16 are integrally formed 'upon said collar for the purpose of engaging the inner faceof the depending flange 2 as clearlyshown in Fig. 1. It is to be notedthat the pipe 4 is rotatable-in the socket 12 [and may be rotatably adjusted with respect to the collar 14. Thus the discharge pipe'6 maybe ex tended more-or less toward the center of the tub so that the use'rof the d'eviceis notlimited to a position opposite the pipe 4 at thehead of the tub. After use, the described attachment may, if desired, be readily removed by disengaging the collar to permit withdrawal of the upright from the floor socket. f A

ios fv necting the inlet of said pipe to a faucet of the tub, and means longitudinally adjustable upon said support engageable with the depending flange of the tub to co-act with said socket to hold said pipe upright.

2. A shower bath attachment for a bathtub having a marginal depending flange, comprising a pipe carrying a spray head adjacent one end and having an inlet, a support carried by said pipe, a floor socket engageable by said support, means for connecting the inlet of said pipehto a faucet of the tub, a collar longitudinally adjustable upon said pipe, and means upwardly projecting from said collar for engagement behind said flange at points sufiiciently spaced longitudinally of the flange to prevent swinging of the pipe parallel to the tub.

3. A shower bath attachment for a bathtub comprising a pipe carrying a spray head adjacent one end and having an. inlet, and a supporting portion closed off from said inlet, a floor socket engageable terminally by said supporting portion, and means for securing said supporting portion rigidly to a margin of the tub.
