, A further ob'ectv ofthe invention is the provision of a containerwhich may be ,usedas a boX for shipping, and which permits the bor; to be collapsed when emptied vand returned to sender, saving space and costin shipping.

A further advantage ofthe invention is the provision of a boX, having parts of '1 standard size, whereby' a broken part may be replaced without the necessity of discard-` ing the wholeboX.

Having thus claim: Y A

A container comprising side and end sections7 the ends of said sections beingprovided with interlocking reinforcing 4niembers, a top and'y bottom for said container, plates arranged on said end sections to retain top and bottom in position and fastening members engaging said plates and said interlocking reinforcing members.

. 2. A container-consisting of side and end sections and a top and'bottom, plates arranged on saidY top and bottom, and connect ing members passing through said container .andthrougli said platesto hold them init-heir respective places. .y
