IMPROVEMENT IN STOVE-PLATFORMS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 143,402, dated October 7, 1873; applicati-on filed April 12, 1873.

The center may be round, oval, or other suitable shape, and the flat portion as small as necessary for supporting the feet.
Any metal or material suitable may be employed, and of any desired thickness.
A molding or ornament aroimd the edge prevents the stove-legs om slipping off.
Figure 1 is a horizontal view or plan, round center. Fig. 2 is a horizontal view of plat` form, oval center. Fig. 3 is a section.
a represents the iiat or level portion. b represents the domed or raised center. c represents the rim or molding. The corners of the platform may be rounded or broken off at any suitable angle. An air-space is left under the domed portion acting as a non-conductor.

I desire it to be expressly understood that I do no not intend to abandon features originally shown in this application, as I propose to make separate applications for patents thereon.
I claim- The device represented, having the flat portion a and domed or elevated center b all made in one piece, constructed substantially as and for the purpose described and set forth.
