This invention relates to improvements in camping stoves.
The main ob ect of this mventlon 1s to provide an improvedcamping stove.which structural details, will definitely appear from the detailed description to follow. I
I accomplish the objects of my invention by the devices and means described inthe following specification. The invention is clearly defined and pointed out in the claims.

Referring to the drawings, my improved stove has a tubular rearwardly tapered body comprising a front section 1 and a rear sec-.

I tion 2. These sections areadapted to be joined by telescoping engagement either with the rear section within the front as shown 1n Figs. II, III and V, or with the rear section upon thefront section as shown 1 in Fig. VII. The top 4 of both body sec tions is flat, thus providing a flat top for the The side and bottom walls of the sections are curved.
The flue comprises an elbow portion 5 and an upright portion 6, the upright portion beingupwardly tapered. The flue is 'telescoped upon the reduced portion 7 at the rear end of the section 2 ofthe body.
I The parts are held in theirtelescoped assembled relation by means of the hasp-like coupling members 8, there being a coupling member secured to each side of the rear body section to coact with-staples 9 at the rear end of the front body'section, pins 10 being I arranged through the staples to prevent the disengagement of the coupling A similar coupling member 8 is arranged on the top of the elbow of the. flue so that when the flue is assembled upon the body the haspengagesthe staple 9 at the rear end of the rearbody section.- lVith the se tions thus ioinedthe stove'may be handled as a unit. the section jomts being secure and not likely .to become disengaged.
- Topermit the hasp 9 to swing out to staple engaging position when the rear section is telescoped within the front section the front section isslotted at 3. When the rear section is arranged on the outside the telescoping relation is not so great and to accommodate this the hasp members are provided with a plurality of holes 8', one being adapted to engage the staple when adiusted as in Fig. II. and the other when adjusted as in Fig. VII. The parts may be quickly assembled and disassembled when arranged in either relation.
The front body member has a horizontally disposed foraminated plate 11 therein constituting a grate. Below this grate is a front wall 12 provided with a damper 1.3 so that air may be admitted below the grate.
The door 14 is hinged at its upper end to the rear edge at the top as .at 15 so that it may be swung open to fully open the front end ofthe stove for the placing of fuel therein or the nesting of the parts as will be hereafter described.
A latch 16 is provided for the door. The door also has a stop 17 which prevents its adjustably secured to the sides of the front falling rearwardly on the top .when swung to a vertical position.
