Be it fknown that I, CARL F. DOERR, a citizen ofthe United States, and a resident of Yonkers, in the county of VVestchester and State of New York, have inventedv a new and Improved Rotary GlassCutter, of
which the following is a full, clean-and exact description.
This invention has relation to glaziers implements and. has particular reference to an improvement in rotary glass cutters of the type set forth in my co-pending'application Serial No. 463,693,. filed April 22, 1921. 1 The present invention contemplates an specifically refers to an improved-means for circumferentially adjusting the cutter head on the carrier sleeve therefor to simplify th'e construction of said means and the operation of bringing the various disc cutters into operative relation to the surface tobe cut.

The set screw '27 which ,afFOrds means for locking the sleeve 25 in its longitudinal adfjusted positions on the carrier bar 20, also functions as a stopfor engagement with the nut 36 to prevent the entire unthreading of the same from the threads thereby eliminating the'trouble incident to re-engaging the threads and also preventing possible stripping of the same. Under this arrangement the disc cutters which are here illus trated as six in number are designed to be I used one at a time and when dull the cutter head can be readily; adjusted on the sleeve to bring anotherof the cutters into cutting position. When all the cutters have become dull theycan be readily removed from the cutter head 81 and replacediby new ones.
