My invention relates to an improvement in display racks for use in connection with the displaying of serial advertisingposters or placards.

Fig. 2 is a rear elevation of the same. Fig. 3 is a longitudinal sectional view. Fig. 4 is an enlarged sectional detail. As illustrated, the rectangular frame 5 x is supported upon suitable pedestals 6.
Mounted infront of this frame is a glass 7, while the rear of the frame is closed by a door 8 which is hinged at its lower end to the frame, as indicated at 9. Suitable pivoted clips 10 are provided for holding the door in closed position. Mounted-upon the inside of the door are a SGIlGSOf advertising posters 11. These posters are securedfl to the door by a plurality of bolts 12 which pass through the posters near the upper edges thereof, the posters being held in position upon such bolts by the nuts 13. Mounted between the bottom or innermost poster 11 and the door 8, and likewise supported upon the rods 12, there is a flexible sheet member 14: preferably somewhat heavier than the individual posters. Secured to the door 8 and pressing outward against the member 14 are one or more leaf springs 15. These springs operate to press outwardly against the member 14:, and thus hold the first or outermost poster firmly against the glass 7 so that this outermost Specification of Letters Patent. This operation is repeated for each successive poster which posters can be removed either. by first removing thenuts '13 and lifting off the top poster from the bolts 12 and then again securing the remainder of the posters, on. the I bolt by again placing the nuts 13 thereon,
orthe posters can be removed by tearing them off of the bolts, leaving the stub p ortions remaining on these bolts. In either event the springs15 will operate to press outwardly against the flexible supporting member 14: fsufficiently toforce the outer poster firmly against the glass so that this poster is properly and clearly displayed.
While I have illustrated and, described" one particular embodiment of my invention, it will be understood that I do not wish to be limited to the exact construction shown and described, but that various changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and intent of my invention.
WVhat Iclaim as my inventionis: In a display rack, a frame, a glass mounted: in the front part of said frame, a door hinged to the back of said frame, a
series of postersremovably secured to the inner surface of said door, aflexible mounting sheet likewise supported on said doorv between said posters and said door, and
spring means between said mounting sheet and said door for pressing'outwardly upon said mounting sheet, whereby theoutermost poster is pressed against theinner surface of said glass.
