Description

. 1. smnmom; DOUBLE COMBINED GOLFERS SEAT WITH SHADES AND UTENSIL HANGERS.
APPLICATION FILED MAR. H, 192!- 1,383,771 I Patented July 5, 1921;
UNITED stares at Free.
JOHN SKIDMORE, 0F GUELPH, ONTARIO, CANADA.
Application filed March 11, 1921.
T 0 all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, JOHN SKIoMoRE, a subject of His Majesty King George V of Great Britain, residing at the city of Guelph, in the county of Wellin ton, rovince of Ontario, Dominion of anada, have invented a Double Combined Golfers Seat with Shades and Utensil-Hangers, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to a double seat for golfers so combined on a common base as to be very solid and substantial, joined at the top by suitable extensions carrying an awning or shade for each chair, from the underside of which and between the 'backs of said chairs are suspended rods or brackets ter- 7 minating in hooks from which pails containing sand or other golfing requisites may be suspended. p
1 illustrate my invention by the accompanying drawing in which A. A are the chairs placed back to back on the common base B. B. They are joined at the top by a continuation of the supporting side bars of the backs of the chairs G. C. These in turn carry the connecting rod D. upon which brackets E. terminating in the hooks (e) are Specification of Letters Patent.
Patented July 5, 1921.

placed. These brackets carry upwardly projecting extensions (f) upon which the awnlng or shade F. is mounted.
t will readily be seen that the pails holding sand, water and such like materials may be replaced by a swinging shelf also suspended from the hooks (e) and on which the pails or other golfing utensils may be placed without affecting the principle of my invention. This forms a very convenient seat and utensil holder which being surmounted by the awning protects the sand, water or golfing utensils from excessive heat or rain. i
I claim:
The combined double seat A. A placed back to back on a common base and united at their tops b an extension of the side bars of the backs with hooks (e). on their lower ends and up- '45- 6., the vertical brackets E.
Wardly projecting extensions (f) carrying the awning F, as hereinbefore described and illustrated in the drawings.
JOHN SKIDMORE. Witnesses: v
