IMPROVEMENT IN escom-BAGS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 136,026, dated February 18, 1873.
To all whom t may concern:
lBe it known that I, EDWARD D. BEorisoN,
of Amsterdam, in the county of Montgomery and State of New York, have invented a new and valuable Improvement in Broom-Bags 5 and I'do hereby declare that thefollowing is a full, clear, and exactdescription of the construction and operation of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawing making a part ofl this specification, and to the letters and figures of reference marked thereon.
The figure of the drawing is a representation of a perspective view of my invention.
This invention has relation to covers for broom-heads; and consists in the hereinafterdescribed novelconstruction of a paper bag having an open bottom, by means of which it 'may be pnt over the broom-head without ruf-` head previously compressed by machinery or otherwise inserted through the mouth. In the accompanying drawing, A designates a paper bag or case having four sides and corners, and made either seamless or from a sheet of paper pasted at the edges. What I claim as my invention is The broom-head cover, consistin g of the paper bag A having an open bottom, with wings a b folded over and secured by means of hooks and eyes, substantially as specified.
