T all whom it may concern 1 Befit known that we, WILBER R. KIRK- ENDALL and GEORGE C. Noon, citizens of the United States, residing at Salina, in the county of Saline and State of Kansas, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in 'Attachments for Folding Music- Stands; and we do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
This invention relates to attachments for folding music stands. a 7
One object of the invention is to provide an attachment for folding music stands having a music sheet supporting ledge made up of a pair of swinging sections, said attachment being designed to clamp the sections and form a bridge across their jointed ends to prevent them from coming out of longi tudinal alinement when the frame is in open position.
Another object of the invention is to provide a device for detachable connection to the sheet supporting ledge of a collapsible which will be extremely simple, strong, durable and inexpensive in construction, and well adapted to the purpose for which it is designed.
lVith these and other objects in view, the invention consists of certain novel features of construction and the combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter fully described and claimed.

In a collapsible music sheet supporting frame, the combination of a sheet supporting ledge composed of a pairof pivotally connected swinging sections positioned in longitudinal alinement when the frame is opened and a straight rigid supplemental sheet supporting ledge having upper and lower clamping flanges receiving said sections therebetween substantially throughby to maintain said sections in longitudinal alinementr V 2.
