My invention relates to improvements in ironing boards.' It relates to an ironing 'board adapted to be supported by casing vhaving drawers, such as a wardrobe trunk.
AThe object of myinvention is to provide an ironing board adapted for travelers use and arranged to be supported in the opera tive position by attachment to a trunk in which the board may be stored when not in use.
A further object oi my invention is toy provide a device oi' the kind described in which a locking bar, which is ordinarily used to ioci the drawers ciosed, may be enipioyedwhen not so used, to support the ironing boa-rd in the operative position.

In the operation of invention, the hooks 1i are inserted between the bar i2- and the drawer 2 next below, being supported by said drawer and engaging the. rear edge "of the bar l2, as shown in Figs. i and 2. rihe member fr is then swung outwardly and has its outer end. inserted between the board i0 and the plate i3, thus holding the ironingboard in the horizontal operative position.

casing having one or more drawers and a transverse bar, an ironing board having one or more hooks for engaging said bar, and a brace having means for attachment to the casing so as to hold thedrawers closed and arranged to engage and support the ironing board in a horizontal position.
5. in a device of the kind described, a casing having one or more drawers and a transverse bar above one of the drawers, an ironing board adapted to be supported on the last named drawer 'and having one or more hooks for engaging said bar, and a brace having means for attachment to the casing so as to hold the drawers closed and ,arranged to engage and support the iron` ing board in a horizontal position.

In a device of the kind described, a casing having one or more drawers and a transverse bar above one of the-drawers, an ironing board adapted to be supportedon the last namedl drawer and having one or more hooks for engaging said bar, and a folding brace arranged to engage the casing and hold the drawers closed, and arranged to be swung to a position in which it will. engage and support the ironing board in a horizontal position.
7. in a device of the kind described, a casn ing having one or more drawers and a transverse bar above one of the drawers, an ironing board adapted to be supported on the last named drawer and having one or more hooks for engaging said bar, and a brace comprising two members hinged together and having means for attachment to the casing in a position for holding the drawers closed, one of said members being adapted to be swung to a position in which it will engage andsupport the ironing board in a horizontal position.
