This ginven ion 1 relates to "new' and useful V l ,1 improvementsin' a-fu'rnacef One I ob ect of the invention 1s to provide a, furnace of the character described which g has been specially designedfor the burning of pulverized rice hulls, for fuel, andwhic'hiis also a'dapted' for utilizing othersimilar fuels, such aschaff, sawdust, and the like. In the hull'shas heretofore been a problem inasmuch as ifthey are burned in the ordinary furnace, great quantities ofblackashes result, "whic'hare ejected from the smoke stacks, and contaminate the air'to suchan extentfthat inf most cities, there are ordiposes; The same is true when it is sought to nanceslagainst using said hulls for fuel pure andconsequently, these roducts must be 1 products incon'nection With. the boiler for hauled away and dispose of in some. other manner at considerable-expense, and at a totaljloss.
