T o all whom it may concern Be it known that I, HENRY. A. RAGLE, a. citizen of the nited States, residing at Maryville, in the county of Blunt and State of Tennessee, have invented certain new and useful Improvements-in Indie-ating Devices for Moving Pictures, of which the following is a specification. reference being had' theregraph in to the accompanying drawing.

This invention relates to indicating devices for moving pictures. the object being to provide an indicating device by means of which the public will be kept informed as to the reel being shown within the theater..

Another object of my invention is to provide an indicating device in the form of a removable dial adapted to be placed on a clock` such dial being provided with spaces to receive the title of the show or the photoof the featuring star.

Another and further object of the 4invention is to provide an indicating device in the forni of a dial which can be used for advertising purposes, lglie dial being practically formed of paper to enable the same to be manufactured very cheaply and by printing on the dial the shows which will be displayed y in the theater for a week or a day. a person displayed `ing the hours of the day and the spaces becan readily place one of these dials on a clock so that he will be able to ascertain just what reel is being displayed at any particular time of the day.

In the drawing. I have shown a face view of a clock in which A indicates the clock which is provided with the usual hour and minute hands B and C and over whichvis arranged a dial D which is split. at- D in order to allow the same yto be readily `placed in position on the clock. The dial is provided with numerals from one to twelve, indicatt-ween these numerals are subdivided by dashes E into twelve minute periods, representing the time ordinarily required to display one reel.

The dial is subdivided into spaces F which are determined b v the number of reels being in any one feature. These spaces corresponding with the' period spaces and with the hour hands in such a manner that when the' dial is placed in position uponI a clock and the first reel is to be displayed at ay given time. a person will be able to determine just. what reel is being shown wit-hinv the theater by examining the clock so that if there is any particular feature being shown in the theater vhe will be able to ar- Specication of Letters Patent.

range to see this particular feature without having to wait the display of other features. The face is also divided into spaces' G and the spaces f and G are adapted to receive either the photograph of the star featuring in the particular reelJ orto have printed therein the title of the reel.

By subdividing the dial into spaces in this manner. a clock provided with one of these indicating devices will indicate the reel being displayed at any time of the day. By using these dials for advertising purposes, they can be readily placed on thev clock which will allow a person to decide and make his I arrangements to see any particular reel witliout wasting the time of waiting for a paitic' ular ree-l to be displayed.
