' This invention relates to a new rotary feedrack, the nature of which is explained by its name. It can be turned or reversed, to be cleaned, and is so arranged that the animals can feed from the ends. The invention .consists in composing the rack of rods, which cross a horizontal beam or scantling, and form four racks of which either one can at any time be-used.
A in the drawing represents a horizontal beam or scantling of prismatic or other form and suitable length. Through it are fitted rods a a the requisite distances apart, and crossing the scantling at right angles alternately.
an end At the ends of the scantlin g are fitted through the same shorter rods b b, at angles of fortyive degrees to a. They are to prevent the animals from climbing into the ends of the rack, and serve also as handles for turning the rack. The apparatus can be supported on the lower ends of the longer rods a and filled from above. Whenever it is to be cleaned it is turned. It may in some cases also be hung at the ends of the beam A in journals, to be the easier turned, but should, in that case, have devices for locking it in each of its four positions.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The revolving feed-rack herein described.
