D is a sprin one end of which is attached to the can, a the free end of which is bent so as to enter the slot 0 and prevent the cover from being turned when the spring rests in its slot. The free end of the spring D is also provided with a thumb-piece, so that it may be conveniently drawn from the slot. E is a loop to prevent the spring D from being drawn too far from the can. When the slots 0 and C are opposite each other the spring D enters them and locks the cover to the can. F is a spring on the cover, and compressing a tag, G. H is a hook, in which the free end of the spring F rests. I is a thumb-piece on spring F.
