To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, JARosLAus Vpxnrnx, a citizen of the UnitedStates, I'BSIdJIIg at Savannah, in the county of Ghatham and State of Georgia, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Deodorlzmg I Attachments for Fans, of which the followin is a specification.

he present invention relates to new and useful improvements in atmosphere deodorizin attachments for fans and the like, the ievice having as an object the fiprovision of a novel and improved type of eodorant container and dispenser for association with an electric fan or the like, whereby the deodorant contained in the device may be mingled with the air currents derived from the fan and caused topermeate the atmosphere of a room either to perfume thesame or to kill any possible germs which may be in the atmosphere.

Another object of my invention is to pro-- vide a deodorizing attachment of the class referred to which may 'be readily applied to any electric fan havin a standard guard frame without structural y altering'the fan or the attachment.

A further object of my invention is to provide a device of the character described which ma be adjusted to various sizes of fan'guar s and which, when applied ,presents a, neat appearance and will require little attention until in need of replenish- A still further ob'ect of my invention is to provide a device 0 the character described which feeds automatically, being barometric in action, the deodorant being supplied automatically as the same evaporates in the evaporating tray. r

A still further object of my invention is to provide a device of the character described which may be cheaply manufactured and sold, is strong and durable, and may be readily disassembled for cleaning.

Other objects and advantages to be derived from the use of my improved deodorizing attachment for fans will appear from the following detailed description and the claims, taken with an inspection of the accompanying drawings, in which:

The tray 10 is supported on the lower portion of the frame G by means of a-clamp 14, said clamp being formed with gripping jaws 15 to .be engaged with the frame, a tlghtening screw 16 passing through said jaws to retain the same in engagement with the frame. The jaws are inherently resilient and when the screw is loosened tend to expand. The clamp 14 is hin edly connected with an extension 17 formed on the tray 10 as indicated at 18, the connecting member 18 being in the form of a screw passing through the clamp and the tray relative the clamp. Of course, I do not limit myself to the shape of the clamping jaws as shown.

However, as soon as the liquid levelin the tray falls below the lower end of the pipe 12 a new supply will be delivered to the'tray. Until the container 20 is exhausted the device needs practically nogattention. The invention is adapted to move with the frame in the event that the same be used on an oscillating fan. The liquid supply may be entirely cut off by the valve 22. 4 v

From the above description taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, it is thought that a clear and comprehensive understanding of the construction, operation andadvantages of my invention may be had, and while I have shown and described the -device as embodying a specific structure, I
