IMPRVEMENT IN MuF-Boxes.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 126,636, dated May 14, 1872 antedated April 25, 1872.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, It. S. JENNINGS, of Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new construction and operation of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawing making a part of this speciiieation and to the letters and figures of reference marked thereon.
Figure l of the drawing is a representation of a vertical section of my invention.
This invention has relation to an improvement in mutt or fur boxes; and the novelty consists in providing a metallic boxy with a lining of cedar Wood, the object being to protect the contents of the box from the ravages of moths. v l v Referring to the accompanying drawing illustrating this invention, A represents a cylindrical box, designed to hold a ladys muft'. As a new article of manufacture the box herein described, consisting of the metallic case A, cedar veneer-lining B, intermediate lining C, lid-D, and elastic band E, substantially as shown.
