To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, SAMUEL H. Prrrnns, a citizen of the United. States, residing at Allentown, in the county of Lehigh' and State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Fish- Line Sinkers, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to smkers and is especially adapted for use in connection with fishing lines.

The object of this invention is to provide a sinker that is primarily adapted for use as above set forth which is somade as to accommodate lines of different sizes so that the same is applicable for different kinds of fishing.

Another object of this invention is to provide an improved fishing line sinker that is so constructed as to provide means for the engagement of the same with the fishing line so as to positively obviate any likelihood of the line becoming detached from the sinker. I

. A still further object of this invention is to provide a device of the kind above setforth that is simple in construction, eflicient in operation, and consists of a mininium number of parts and, therefore, can be manufactured for the minimum amount.

IWith these and other objects in view, this invention consists of certain'novel constructions, combinations and arrangement of parts, as will be hereinafter fully described and claimed.

As is clearly shown in Fig. 5, the coil spring is in abutment with the head 18 of the retaining screw and the collar 15 formed on the section 11 and in that the ret'aifiing screw is held fast to the member 10, the said members are yieldably secured together and therefore lines of difi'erent sizes can be efliciently retained therebetween.
