To all whom t may concern:

Be it known that I, ALFRED J. Lovnnns's, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Lenox, in the county of Berkshire and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new and Improved Reversible rTag, of

which the following is a full, clear, and `eX- y acters denote similar parts in all the views,

By referring to the drawings, it will be seen that the body member is stampedy out of a single piece of metal, as illustrated in Fig. 4f, this body 5 having two arms 6 and 7 the arm 6 being disposed at the end 8 of the body and having an orifice 9 which registers with an orifice 10 in the body when the body at the line 11 is bent over so that the termi-l nals 12 of the arms 6 and 7'are disposed adjacent the side 13 of the body. This side 13 of the body is bent over after the body 5 has been bent at the line 11, so that the side 13 beyond the line 14 will be disposed over the terminals 12 of the arms 6 and 7. c The bent-` over sides at the lines 11 and 14 of the body 5 form guideways for a card 15 on the sides of which addresses or other information may be printed or written. A cord 1s 'disposed through the orifices 9 and 10 when the bodyhas been completed, these orifices registering with each other, as has been stated. The cord disposed through the orices 9 9 and 10 and tied, serves to hold the arm 6 in place, and as this arm 6 is integral with these@ 1e of the body 5 beyond the 1in@ '11, 1t assists in holding this side 16 in bent position. The outer end of the card 15 is'reinforced by a metal piece 17 which is bent over to clamp the end of the card, this metal piece fitting snugly the ends of the guidewaysV formed by the bent-over sides13 and 16of the body 5 to prevent the card 15 from slipping out of the body.

1. In a reversible tag, a body in'one piece having a plurality of arms extendingy from a side of the body, one o f the arms being disposed adjacent an end of the body',the body adjacent the arms being bent over with the terminals of the arms disposed adjacent the opposite edge ofthe body, which is bent over against the terminals of thearms, there being registering orifices vin the said Vend of the body and in the arm disposed at` the i said end of the body, through which a cord may be disposed.

2. Ina reversible tag, fa body in one piece having a plurality of arms extendingl from a side of the body, one of thearms being disposed adjacent an end of thebody,'the body adjacent the arms being bent overwith the terminals of the armsedisposed adjacent the oppositeV edge of the body, which is bent over against the terminals of the arms, the bent-over portion of thev body forming guideways7 there beingregistering orifices in the said end of the body and in the arm disposed at the said end of the body, through which a cord may be disposed, and a card removably disposed in the guideways formed by the bent over sides of the body.

B. In a reversible tag, a body having a plurality of arms extending from a side of the body, one of the arms being disposed ad# jacent an end of the body, the body adj acentv the arms being bent over with the terminals of the arms disposed'adjacent the oppositev edge of the body, which is bent over against the terminals of the arms, there being registering orifices in the said end of the bodyv and in the karm disposed at the said end of the body, through which a cord maybe disposed.

In a reversible tag, a body inone piece having two arms extending from a side of the body one of the arms being disposed adjacent an end of the body, the other arm being spaced from the other end of the body, the body adjacent the arnis being` bent over with the terminals of the arnis disposed adjacent the opposite edge of the body which is bent over against the terminals of the arms, there belng registering orifices in the, irst mentioned Lend of the body and the `adjacent arm, a cord disposed through the registering orifices, and a card removably disposed in the guideway forined by the bentover sides of the body, the card being removable from the second mentioned end of the vbody.
