Be it known that I, ANITA VON R. HAN- SEN, a citizen 'of the United States, and a while making up the bed, and which envelop may also be used alone if desired, and may be made very attractive to enhance the appearance of the bed.

Referring to Figs. 1 to 4, inclusive, 8 represents the under solid portion of the envelop having. side flaps 9 and 10 and end flaps 11 and 12 joined thereto and constituting .the upper portion 0f the envelop, the

are strips 13 provided with spaced'button holes, at the foot thereof is a strip 14 likewise provided with spaced button holes, and at the head thereof is a strip 15 likewise provided with spaced button holes, these strips being blanket holders, and all of the iaps are also provided with spaced button holes and serve as a holder for a comfortable.
In assembling, the Hap 1 2 is opened, as indicated by dotted lines in Fig. 1, and a blanket 16 provided with buttons 17 is arranged beneath the side and foot flaps, the
said buttons being inserted into the respective button holes in the oppositely arranged side strips 13, after which a blanket 18 is similarly arranged within the envelop and buttons 19 thereon inserted into the respective button holes in the foot and head strips 14 and 15, respectively.
The more or less elaborate comfortable 20 is then similarly arranged within the envelop and buttons 21 thereon inserted into the respective holes in the iiaps 9, 10, 11 and 12, and the blankets, comfortable, and envelop, constitute a unit for handling, the solid under portion 8 being next to the sleeper and obviating the need for an upper sheet.
The sham 22 is cylindrical in form and open at one side, buttons 23 being provided to close this opening, and said sham may be used upon the pillows while the bed is in use, or may be used upon the bolster during the time when the bed is not in use, an ornamental ap24 being held along one edge to the sham by the buttons 23 and being used to cover the soiled or rumpled portions of the sham when the bed is not being used and being thrown back` out of the way, or detached, when the bed is in use.

While I have shown a simple ornamentation of the bed set, I do not limit myself to such ornamentation as I may make the same as elaborate as may be desired by fastidious people or I may dispense With all ornamentation for people of simplel tastes.
Having fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
1. A device of the class described, comprisingj an envelop having a solid under side, flaps on its upper side at the edges thereof, the side Haps and one end l'lap being joined together` and the other end flap being free, strips Within said envelop secured with one of their longitudinal edges at the edges of the envelop whereby they are free to accommodate a blanket below as Well as above thestri and means for connecting said flaps and strips With bed coverings.
