Be it known that I, HERMAN I. RANDALL, a citizenV of the United `States, residing at Pasadena, in the county of Los Angeles and'l State of California, have invented a new and useful Drawer-Stop, of which the following is a specification.

My invention relates to the art of building and furniture construction, and the principal object of the invention is to provide a stop which may be incorporated in drawer structure as used in such construction. c

The stop which I use in my invention consists of a single piece of metal 11, bent in the form shown in Fig. 1 to form side prongs 12, a side guide portion 13, a bottom guide portion 14, a stop arch 15 and a bottom lug 16, the bottom lug 16 having a screw opening117 formed therein.

I claim as my invention l. A drawer stop for use in a drawer structure toy guide and stop a drawer, coml prising two strips of metal secured A1n said drawer structure, one at each side thereof,

said strips each comprising a stop portion extending upwardly inside the drawer below the bottom of saidv drawer in such a position as to be struck by the front of the drawer with the drawer inthe closed position, a side portion formed on said strip in such a position as to guide the side of said drawer, andr a kbottom guide portion formed on said strip in such a position as to provide a support and a guide for the bottom of the side of said drawer, said metal members being solocated'that the front of the drawer is stopped in proper alinement with the drawer structure when in said closed position. c n

A drawer stop for use in a drawer structure to guide and stop a drawer, comprising two strips of metal secured said drawer structure, one at each side thereof, said strips each comprising a stop portion extending upwardly inside the drawer below the bottom of said drawer in such a position as to be struck by the front of the drawer with the drawer in the closed position, a convex side portion formedl on said strip in such a position as to guide the side of said drawer, and a convex bottom guide portion formed on said strip in such a position as to-provide a support and a guide for the bottom of the side of said drawer, said metal members being so located that the front of the drawer is stopped in proper alinement with the drawer structure when in said closed position.

A drawer stop for use in a drawer structure to guide and stop a drawer, comprising two strips of metal secured in said drawer structure, one at each side thereof, said strips each comprising a stop portion extending upwardly inside the drawer be- OFFTGEe portion 15 of each of the stops 11 projects I lupinside the drawer to a point close to the low the bottom of said drawer in such aV position as to be struck by the front of the drawer with the drawer in the closed position, a convex side portion formed on said strip in such a position as to guide the side of said drawer, side prongs formed on said side portion in such a location that they can be driven into the side of said drawer strueture',` and a convex bottom guide portion formed on said strip in such a' position as to provide a support and a guide for the bottom of the side of said drawer, said metal members being so located that the lfront of the drawer is stopped in proper alinement with the drawer structure when in said closed position.
