SANITARY RECEP'TACLE,
APPLICATION FILED MAY Is. I9I5.
Patented 0013. 17, 1916.
lllIIIIIIlllllllllllllllll" .JOHN GEORGE HANSON, OF OSAKIS, MINNESOTA.
SANITARY EECEPT'ACLE.
Specication of Letters Patent.
Patented Oct. 17, 1916.
Application led May 18, 1915. Sera1No.'28,942.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN GEORGE HAN- sON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Osakis, in the county `of Douglas and State of Minnesota, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Sanitary Receptacles, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to an improvement in sanitary receptacles or containers, and the object is to provide means for supporting and covering articles such as parts of a cream separator to prevent insects from coining in contact with the parts, and at the same time allowing fresh air tO comel in contact with the articles Or parts.
The invention consists of certain novel features of construction and combinationsof 'f parts which will be hereinafter described and pointed out in the claim. n
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view showing the cover in a raised position; and Fig. 2 is a transverse.
Guide-strips 4 extend transverselyof the base A for guiding the cover into place, the
strips engaging".` the inner surface Of the frame Bof the cover when the cover is swung to closed position.
Hooks or hangers 5 are connected tothe base, by means of screws 6. These screws 6 are intended to be screwed into a building or other support for fastening the base, so that the Ybase will hang and lie against a vertical wall or surface.
Mounted upon the hooks or hangers are parts of a cream separator, which it is desired to dry and air by allowing fresh air tol come in contact therewith, without permit- 1 ma; jpg Essi* armeniens ce? ting insects tov come in contact with the parts.
From the foregoing it will be seen that I have provided a simple attachment for supporting articles to be dried and aired, without subjecting the articles to contact by 4insects and the like.
I claim The combination with a base adapted to be fastened to a wall, of a frame lhinged to the base, a screen fabric connected to the frame, said screen fabric consisting of two substantially parallel end members and a circular strip connected at its edge with the edges of the end members, means on the base adapted to engage the inner surface of the frame when swung over and upon the base, hooks mounted on the base for supporting the article to be protected, and removable means for connecting the hooks to the `base and for fastening the base to a support.
In testimony whereof I aiiix my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
JOHN G .EOEGE iiANsON.
