This' invention relates to improvements in forms. and the object isto provide and inexpensive form which may be manufactured at small cost, and which will hold a garmentin its natural shape during shipment-or storage. A further object is to provide a garment form which ina)v be packed Hat when not in use, and adjusted for use to have surface curvature closely resembling the curvature of the human body.
The ,device con 'sts essentiallyl of a sheet' of material slit froi'n'the upper corners in approximately a diagonal direction to form full, clear, and exthe upper -portion thereof into'centi'al and side divisions, provided with interlocking means. -The central division carries at its upper edge a neck tending arms, which may be folded over the central division vto form'with the neck t-ah ajcollar support.
In the drawings which illustrate the invention :-l"i gu re form in at'condition. Fig. 2 is a plan view of the foi-in in' folded condition.
Referring more particularly to the drawings, 11 designatesa sheet ofn'iaterial of the contour shown iii Fig. l having slits 12 formed thereinan'd extending i' rom the. up-
per corners downwardly toward the vertical divide the upperaxis of the sheet, so as to l poitionof the sheet into a central division 13..and a pair of side divisions 14.' The central divisionis provided along the upper edge with slots 15 for there'cel'ition of the upperends of the side. divisions 14whzieh are provided with hooks `for the purpose of retaining the side divisions in vthe slots. The centralA division is provided in suitable.. positions with' U-shaped cuts forming tongues -17 integral with thesheet, and arranged to engage adjacent divisions whereby the edges are gripped be- ,tongues ofthe central division.
a The neck tab l18 is foldahlc with lrespect t0 the central division 'at' acreaseline19, and

-is again foldableintermediate its ends at a crease line 20 parallel with ythe crease 19. An arm 21 extends from `each side of the neck tab extending a suitable distance laterally. These arms may be foldable with re spect to the neck tab at crease lines 22. Slots 'are provided inthe central division inposition to receive the ends of the arms 21. The extremity ofthe neck tab yis devicel may be suspended. A transverse slot 25 is provided in the lower portion of the sheet in' order that another garment may be hung' therethrough.I
In assemblingf' the device .to operative form, the free ends of the side divisions 14 are. pressed toward one another until 'they overlap the central divisionfand the ends thereof 4become introdiiceable through the hooks 16.' The adjacent edges of'these side divisions are inserted under the tongues17 'simultaneously with or subsequently tothe insertion' of their ends in theslots 15, so that tlieside divisions are held down on the central division by being'gripped between the tongues and the central division, and are' thereby spaced a predetermined distance apart. The neck tab is'bent upwardly at 19, and if desired, downwardlyat the crease 20. The arms 21 are then brought forwardly over the central division, and a quarter turn imparted to them, so that the ends lie'tlat on the central division and may be inserted through the slots 23, where thej will be held. ',lheoverlapping of the cen- Vtral andside divisions produces the sur' face (-.urvature in the sheet, as will be read ily understood, while, the tongues 17.. hold the side. divisions against'- excessive over- 95 lapping intermediate their ends, when pressure is applied to the convex surface of the forni. The positioning oft-he arms- 21 forms a support Vof natural shape for the collar lof a garment, so that the 'come creased by Abeing folded lat *iii a box or from the weight of the-garment when the form is suspended. same does not be' 106 to the outer edges of .the side divisions, which it w-ill be noted curve oiit- 1105 garment enables an extremely natural curvature to be produced Hoving thus described my invention, what claim is Y l. line, device of the character described, ii sheet of materiel divided from the top 4into.central and side divisions, means on said side divisions for engaging'tlie central division, and integral means on tbecentral division for engaging the side divisions intermedinte of their ngtli.
2. lin e device of the character described,
n zi sheet of materiel divided from the top 'into central and side divisions, ineens on 20 said side divisions for engaging the central divisions, -end integral independent means 'mennen on the centi-al division for gripping the side divisions above and below.
3. ln a, device of the character described,
s sheet of material Widest in the upper por ltion and separated into central and side divisions by slits extending obliquely from the upper corners, slots in the upper corners of the central division positioned to reeive the free extremities or the side divisions,
-liooks on the side *divisions errnn ed to retain the ends thereof in the s ots, end' tongues formed integral with the central division positioned for engagement with edjeeent edges of the side divisions.
ln witness whereof, ll liaveliereunto set my hand, in presence off two witnesses.
