IMPROVEMENT IN REIN-HOLDERS.
To all whom t may concern:
Be it known that I, HENRY D. PAGE, of Morenci, in the county of Lenawee and State of Michigan, have invented a new and valuable Improvement in ReiirHoldei-s 5 and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the construction and operation of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawing making a part of this specification, and to the letters and iignres of reference marked thereon.
Figure l of the drawing is a representation of a longitudinal section of my invention. Fig. 2 is a face vieW of the same.
This invention has relation to an improved reinholding attachment for harness; and the novelty consists in its -novel construction ofthe base-- nates a ilat metallic spring, rigidly secured at one end, by a rivet, b, Within a recess formed in a projection or shoulder, b', ot' the plate A. The other end of the spring fits in a similar recess formed in a shoulder, b, and is slightly curved to form a thumb-piece, c. I claim as my invention- The rein-holder herein described, consisting of the plate A having the longitudinally-recessed shoulders b I1, and rein-cavity D, and of the straight spring B adapted thereto, all constructed and arranged as specified.
