Be it known thatT, Bonner CUXNr-XGHAA, a citizen of theUnited States, residing at Brooklyn, in the countyof Kings and State l, of New York, havinvented certain new and useful Improvements in Sanitary Linings for Garbage-Receptacles, of which the followingis a full, clear, and exact specilication. i

This invention relates to receptacles for garbag and has for its object to' provide a sanitary lining for such receptacles which lining may be removed with the contents ofv the receptacle, thus keeping the inner surface of the receptacle clean and free from germs.,` f

TVhen the lining is inserted in a garbage receptacle D, as illustrated in Fig. 3, these tabs are bent or folded down over the upper edge of the receptacle to prevent the lining from sagging.

For storage and transportation purposes, the lining lmay be folded flat, as ,shown in Fig. 4, the upper portion of the wall member A being folded or doubled upon itself and the bottom B and lower portionof the wall member folded over upon said wall member, so that the bottom need not 'be folded at all, thus leaving the joint between said bottom and wall member unimpaired by thefolding operation. In other words, the linings when folded in the manner indicated will not tend in anyvdegree to loosen the joint between the bottom and inwardly folded lower end portion @of the wall member, as mightresult from folding the bottom upon itself.

It willbe readily understood that when the lining is applied to a garbage receptacle, as illustrated in Fig. 3, said lining will protect the inner surface of the receptacle from the garbage which will be placed in and 'removed with the lining, a new lining being inserted after the receptacle is emptied each time.
