While I have shown and described my means in combination with the elements'o'i an undenfeed stoker, it is to'be understood that such agitating means is not solely restricted to fthe use in such combination, as the same may be, employed successfully in connection ,with the elements of various furnaces andstokers.

This agitator block is rigidly mounted upon a reciprocatory rod 16 which has its rear endoperating in a guide sleeve 17, as shown. Any other suitable means may be employed to pivotally connect the substantially U-shap'ed link 14 with the rod-16.-
Bolted or otherwise rigidly attached to the forward-end of the magazine 5 is a. fuel feed'casing or cylinder 18, having a feed hopper 1.9, bolted thereto, as shown. The upper portion of the feed casing is provided with an opening 20, normally covered by a plate 21, held in place by bolts 22.
