To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, ADoLFo ,LURIA, a min- Chicago, in the county of Cook and State 5 of Illinois, have -invented a certain new and useful Improvement in Litters and Collapsible Field-Cots, of which the following is a specification.-

A combined litter and field cot comprising side bars in telescoping sections, a canvas extending between said side bars, sleeves carried by the sections ofthe side bars and having upper inwardly projecting lugs and also having lower inwardly and downwardly pro ecting lugs, bracing levers pivotally connected to one another at their inner ends and pivotally connected at their outer ends tothe upper lugs, legs pivotally connected at their upper ends to the said inwardly and downwardly projecting lower lugs, and relatively engaging toothed segments carried by the upper ends of the legs and the outer ends of the said bracing levers, whereby to swing the legs to vertical and horizontal positions respectively when the said bracing levers are moved to operative and inoperative position. 1 7. A combined litter and field cot comprising side bars in telescoping sections, a canvas extending between said side bars, sleeves carried by the sections of the side bars and having upper inwardly projecting lugs and also having lower inwardly and downwardly projecting lugs, bracing levers pivotally connected to one another at their inner ends and pivotally connected at their outer ends to the upper lugs, legs pivotally connected at their upper endsto the said inwardly and downwardly projecting lower lugs, and relatively engaging toothed segments carried by the upper ends of the legs and the outer ends of the said bracing levers, whereby to swing the legs to vertical and horizontal positions respectively when the said bracing levers are moved to operative and inoperative position, certain'of the sections of the side bars being rotatable with respect to their said sleeves, and having the canvas fixed thereto whereby portions of the canvas may be rolled upon the said sections of the side barsby their rotativemovement when the bracing levers are moved to inoperative po- 'sition, and the side bars folded to positions adjacent one another.
