`IMPROVEMENT lN BUCKLES.
To all whom 'tmay concern:
Be it known that I, `J CHN PECKHAM, of New Haven,`in `the State of Connecticut, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Buckles; u and Ido hereby declare the following to be a full, Clear, and exact descrip- `tion of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawiugand letters of reference marked thereon, in` Which-- Figure l is a plan of the buckle complete; Fig. 2, a plan of the rim or bow detached from the loop 5 and Figs. 3 and 4 are plans of `the loop, showing slight modilcations in the construction thereof. y
The nature "of my invention consists in the peculiar, manner of constructing the loop por-V tion of the buckle, the advantages of which will be `hereinafter fully set forth.
