rior of the shell is threaded. A shell C, circumferentially threaded, is adapted to fit the threads Within the handle and has two 1 grooves D formed parallel to each other in the inner wall thereof. A disk D has a milled edge and is provided with two oppositely disposed integral fingers F, parallel to each other, adapted to engage said grooves and the end of each finger has a laterally bent portion adapted to engage the inner end of the shell to prevent the fingers from being l`pulled out of the grooves. A stick of is fitted within the shell C.
In operation, by turning the milled disk, the shell C may berotated to feed the soap forward when the brush is being used and a reverse movement to the milled disk will cause the stick of soap and shell carrying the same to be withdrawn from the brush.
What I claim to be new is A shaving brush comprising a hollow cylindrical handle having an annular groove in one end with bristles secured therein, a shell with circumferential threads engaging the threads of the handle, said shell having grooves formed in the inner surface thereof at oints diametrically opposite each other, a disk with integral fingers projecting therefrom and engaging said grooves and their inner ends outwardly bent at angles and adapted to engage the inner end of the hollow handle.
In testimony whereof I hereunto affix my,
