CATHETER-USERS STANDARD APPARATUS.
Specification of Letters Patent.
Patented Sept. 28, 1915.
Application filed April 25, 1912. Serial No. 693,248.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMEs F. SPALDING, a citizen of the United States, residing at Kansas City, in the county of Jackson and State of Missouri, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Catheter- Users Standard Apparatus, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to catheter users apparatus, and my object is to provide new and useful apparatus of this character especially adapted for home and hospital use.
In order that the invention may be fully understood, reference will now be made to the accompanying drawing, in which:
Figure 1 is a side elevation, partly insection, of the apparatus. Fig. 2 is a broken rear elevation of the apparatus. Fig. 8 is a horizontal section on line IIIIII of Fig. 2. Fig. 4 is a vertical section of a supply box employed in carrying out the invention. Fig. 5 is a front elevation of said supply box.
In carrying out the invention, I employ a standard I mounted upon a base 2, which in turn is mounted upon casters 3.
& designates a sleeve removably secured to the intermediate portion of the standard 1 by a thumb-screw 5. The sleeve 4 is provided with a bracket 6, having oppositelydisposed loops 7 to receive a pair of hooks 8 secured to the rear wall of a supply case 9. The hooks 8 are removably secured in the loop 7 by thumb-screws 10, so that the supply case may be removed from the bracket 4 I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is:
1. In an apparatus of the character described, a standard, a bracket secured to said standard, oppositely-disposed loops on said bracket, a supply case, hooks on the supply case to enter said oppositely-disposed loops, and means carried by the loops to engage said hooks and reliably secure them from accidental displacement.
2. In an apparatus of the character described, a standard, a bracket secured to said standard, oppositely-disposed loops on said bracket, a supply case, hooks on said supply case to enter the loops, and thumb screws carried by said loops to engage the hooks, substantially as described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature, in the presence of two witnesses.
JAMES F. SPALDING.
