Having thus described my invention what I claim and desire by Letters Patent to seoureis:
A union garment having an opening extending down the front to the rear and terminatingat a point in the back near the waistline, overlapping flaps substantially coextensive in area secured at one of their edgesto opposite sides ofsaid opening from said point inthe back to pointsat the front substantially above the crotch, and means to detachably secure the front edge of one of said flaps to themargin of the body portion of said garment" at the front thereof and to which the other of said flaps is secured, at points at one side of the crotch of said garment along one inner leg seam thereof and at a substantial distance from the edge of said other flap. v i
