One object of 'my'invention is the provision of a signof this type, which may be readily removed at any time fromfits' position and a diiferent signused to replace it if desired.

In its preferred form, I provide a series of horizontally disposed louvers integrally formed therewith. The provision of these louvers has a peculiar attracting property,

which may be used to advantage by placing the proper advertisingliterature thereon.

My invention also resides in the provision of a peculiar type of nailing strip, which may be permanently applied to the store front or to the front ofthe building in any desired manner. This nailing strip and the sign proper are formed to cooperate with each other to hold the sign body securely in its position.

The preferred embodiment of my, invention is shown in the accompanying drawings, in which similar characters of reference designate corresponding parts, and in which:

My sign is particularly adaptable to serve the purpose of a ventilator and this is one of the reasons why I have provided these louvers, although in placing the signs among alarge number of merchants, various structures are encountered and, therefore, it is good policyto provide the portions 3, 4- and 5 to prevent engagement of the louvers with the building.

This flange is shown as being provided with three tongues 7, cut out of the body of the metal itself and bent to hook form, as is more clearly shown in Fig. 3. It is desirable to locate these tongues in the manner shown in Fig. 1, in which the two adjacent the side edges are placed near the top edge of the flange, while that one shown in the middle is adjacent the lower edge.
