herein embodied, to the uppermost binding' strip or member 5.- By this arrangement it will be readily perceived that the several sections of the insulating filler maybe assembled with convenience and facility and in a manner which entails a minimum of space, which latter feature is especially desirable in a device of thisgeneral. character. It is to be observed that the open face of the inner casing 2 terminates a predetermined distance below the-lower face of the outer casing 1' in order that a removable filler 6' of suitable insulating material may be interposed between the cover 7 of the inner casing and the cover 8 of the outer casing. The cover 8 is of conventional formation and is provided with the marginal flanges 9 adapted to overlie the Walls of the casing 1 while the cover for the inner casing comprises an unobstructed flat body of material although this in itself in every instance is not essential. 1

From the foregoing description, it is thought to be obvious that a container con structed in accordance with my invention is of an. extremely simple and comparatively inexpensive nature and is. particularly well adapted for use by reason of theconvenience and facility'with which it may be assembled, and it will also be obvious that my invention is susceptible of some change and modification without. material departure from the principles and spirit thereof and for this and formation of the several parts herein shown in carrying out my invention in practice. I a I claim:

1. An insulating filler comprising a bot,- tom layer, side layers and end layers, and I flexible members disposed around said layers for maintaining the same in assembled position, themembers disposed around the side, and end layers beingdisposed in longitudinal parallelism, the flexible members for maintaining the bottom laver in applied position being disposed transversely and longitudinally and having their extremities confiected to the uppermost longitudinal mem- 2.
