I, THOMAS NICHOLS, of Vicksburg, in the county of WVarren-and State of Mississippi, have invented certain Improvements in Stops for Wood-Flows, of which the following is a specification.
Nature and Objects of the Invention.
My invention relates to theoombination of a thumbnut and screw with a stop in such a manner that the said stop may be retained in anydesired position, the object of this part of myinvention being to set the stop so as to plane a groove of any desired depth.
Description of the Accompanying Drawing.
Figure 1 is a front elevation of a machine embodying my invention.
Figure 2 is a side elevation of the same.
General Description.
A is block intended to represent the wood part of a plow.
B is the stop, which should be made of brass or other metal, and is held in position by the screw D, from which latter, by means of the flat part on top,
the stop is elevated or depressed; and when adjusted the purpose hereinbefore set forth.
