citizen oi:n the United States, residing at- Huntsville, inthe county of Randolph and `tate of liilissouri, have invented new and useful improvements in Rail-Bonds74 of .conductor or bonding` wire.
Further objects of this invention will appear as the following specilc description is read in connection'with the accompanying drawing` which` forms a parthot"y this application, and in which if Figure l is a side elevation showing the device applied to a rail joint. Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken on the Aline 2-2 'of Fig. l. Fig'. 3 is an enlarged sectional view taken through the clip removed from the rail.

After the conductor has been placed in the aperture 7 and the hook l0 arranged over the base flange the clip is .slipped onto the bolt and the nut l1 tightened so as to force the conductor into engagement with the sharp edge of the opposite base flange thereby causing said base flange to bite into the conductor and to secure a goed operative connection.
