I do not desire to be limited tothe precise construction and arrangement shown and described as modifications(are` no doubt possible which .would .still come within the scope of the invention, and I claim the followingy y,
1. Ina lamp of the class described, the combinatiofn of a sup orting structure 11aving guide-way?, a re ector secured to said structure, a bu n `for said burner having frictional slidable engagement 'in said guide-ways whereby said burned/'may be adjusted with reference to said reflector.
2. In a lamp, the combination of a supporting plate having guiding brackets, a burner structure having tongues extending therefrom and adapted for slidable engagement insaid brackets, and a spring tongue for coperating with said supporting plate tocause said other tongues to engage frictionally -with said brackets.
3. In a lamp, the combination of a sup- Sorting plate havingv guiding brackets, a
urner structure slidable on said plate'in said brackets, and a spring tongue on said structure for causing frictional engagement of said structure with said brackets.
4. In a lamp, the combination of a supporting frame, a shell secured to said frame and having an opening at its vunder side said supporting frame having guide-ways, a burner extending through sald opening into said shell, and a sup orting structure for said burner having a justable slidable engagement in said guide-ways whereby 'said burner may be readily adjusted with reference to said shell.
5. In a lamp, the combination of a supporting frame, a reflector shell secured to said frame and having an opening in its er, and a supporting frame f lowerjside, guide brackets on said frame, an L-sh'aped supporting frame, and afburn'er secured` to the horizontal wall`of said L- shapedsupporting frame and extending through said opening into the shell,'the upwardly-exte'nding Wall of said L-shaped :frame having slidable adjustable engage.y
portingsgfr'ame, a reflector shll secured to said frame and having an upper opening and' alower opening, a burner lstructure adjustable on said frame and having its burner end extending through said lower,i opening- "into the shell, a top frame secured to the shellV over said upperopening and having an'upper outlet, and a cap secured over said i outlet". v
7.1'In a lamp, the combination of asupporting plate having guide-ways, an L- shaped frame having its upwardly extend? ing wall adjustably slidable in said guide-l ways, a burner extending upwardly from the horizontal wall of said fra-me, and a fluid inlet nozzle extending from' said burner, said horizontal wall forming a supporting base for the structure.
8. In a lamp, the combination of a lsupporting plate having lateral guide-Ways, a
reflector shell secured to said'plate and having a lower opening, an L-shaped frame, a
'burner extending upwardly from the horizontal wall of said frame and/through said opening into the shell, a tluiid inlet nozzle extending from said burner, the upwardly extending wall of said frame having adjustable slidable engagement said guideways whereby said L-shapeditragne may be readily moved to adjust the burner with reference tothe shell or tofibeffentirely re moved from the shell, the horizontal wall of said L-frame forminga supporting base for the lamp structure.
In witness whereof, I hereunto set my hand this 10th 'day of DecemberfA. D., `1913.
