The nature of my invention consists in the construction'and arrangement of a combined pruningknife, hatehet, andsaw, as will be hereinafter fully set forth.
In order to enable others skilled in the art to which my invention appertains to make and use the same, I will now proceed to describe its construction and' operation, referringl to the annexed drawing, in whichl Figure l is a perspective view ot' my entire pruninl implement; and v v FigureZ is a side view of the handle thereof.
A represents a square block, of any suitable dimensions, cast in two pieces, and each piece having in the center of one side one-half of a socket, B, in which, when put together, the handle C is insertedand held by the screw a.

In the corresponding corner, on the opposite side of the block, is pivoted the hatchet E, as shown.
The saw E and hatchet E are pivoted bymeans of rivets b b, which also secure the two parts of the block firmly together. These rivets willhave a screwV at one end, and one side of the jaw or block willv have eorrespondin'or screw-threads, so that the tools can be tightened at any time or taken out at pleasure.
On the endof the handle C is formed a screw-driver, d, to takeout, pnt in, or tighten the tools.
,On the same side ot the block A as -thesceketB is a recess in which' the knife G is pivoted. v,This knife, when'not in use, can he turned so as fold parallel with the socket. l
Having thus fully described my invention,
A combination-p1uning tool, composedv of the saw D, hatchet E, and knife G, all arranged as -described 'in the bisected block A, provided with the socket B and handle C, substantially as herein set forth.
