Specication forming part of Letters Patent No. 109,219, dated November 15, 1870.
1, JOHN KASPAR, of Pomeroy, county of Meigs, andfthe State of Ohio, have invented a Clothes-Drier, of which the following are the specifications:

My invention relates to the folding of five panels on each side of a frame', folding iiusli into one another, and also permitting' the said five panels on. each side to be moved into any direction desired when drawn out ot' the frame, or drawin gout as many panels as circumstances may require or the nature of the room may permit; the object of lnyinvention being to reduce the entire clothes-drier to the space occupied by the frame itself when not in use, and offering much space for the purpose of drying clothes when the panels are extended.

Figure 1 is a front elevation of Vthe clothesdrier embodying my invention. Fig. 2 is a section comprising the five panels, extended on one of the two sides as folded in Fig. l.
General Description.

The hinges connecting the ve panels, besides fastening the panels together, are for the purpose of permitting the said panels to be moved into any direction, or adding any number of panels the size of the frame A may permit.
G upon the center cross-bar 2 in frame A is a button, which button, when turned upon center bar 2 of panel F, connes all the live panels flush into and within the space occupied by frame A when the clothes-drier is not in usc.
I claim as my invention-J The combination of the Hush-folding panels B, (l, D, E, and F with and on each side of frame A, substantially as and for the purpose hereinbefore set forth.
