Be it knownthat I, ToM Bno, a subject of the Emperorot Austria-Hungary, residing in Prague, II, Bohemia, Austria- Hungary, have invented a certain new and useful Tobacco-Pipe, of which the following is a specification. Y

rlhis invention relates to a tobacco pipe, the so-called sport pipe, constructed so that the smoke arrives -cool and purified in the mouth, and the pipe does not get wet, burn or bite, and the cleaning can be elected very quickly and. easily.

Into the projection or neck 2 of the wooden pipe head or bowl a is inserted in a corresponding recess a metal tube 1 closed at the bottom and open at 'the top and provided at the bottom end with a vertical branch 3 from which branches oil a small transmission tube 7 parallel to the tube 1. Into the tubular projection 3 projects the tubular4 piece 4 of the sheet metal insertion 5 lining the bottom of the bowl or chamber 6. Between the tube 1 and the small tube 7 is arranged an insulating layer 10. Thetube 1 with the branch 3 and the small tube 7 forms one whole which, when the sheet metal insertion 5 with the tubular piece 4 is raised, can be withdrawn from the pipe head and inserted again.

What-I claim as my invention and desire to secure by .Letters Patent is 1. In a tobacco pipe theJ combination of a bowl having a neck extension, a tapering tube elo-sed at the lower end and adapted to be `insertedinto the neck extension, an eX- tensio-n branch on the lower end of the tapering tube, a transmission tube substantially parallel to the tapering tube and connected to the extension branch at the botdry, as it has to travel a longdistanee, and

2. In a tobacco pipe the combination of a bowl having a neck extensioma socket piece adapted to be inserted in the neck extension and comprising a tapering tube closed at the lower end, an extension branch on the lower end of the tapering tube and a transforth.

3. In a tobacco pipe the combination of a bowl having a neck extension, a taperin tube closed at the lower end and adapted to be inserted into the neck extension, an extension branch on the lower end of the tapering tube, a transmission tube substantially parallel to the tapering tube and connected to the extension branch at the bottom and to the tapering tube at its upper end, a smoke tube adapted to be inserted in the tapering tube a helical groove on the outside of the smoke tube and connected at its lower end to the interior of the smoke tube, a chamber in the lower end of the smoke tube and connected' at its upper end to the helical roove, and a sleeve provided with dia-metrlcal slots of different widths and adapted to receive interchangeable suction plugs, said sleeve being adapted to close the bottom of the chamber in the lower end of the smoke tube.
