To all 'whom t may concern Be it known that I, Humor M. grumman, a citizen of the United States, residing at Ephrata, in the county of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania, have invented new and useful Improvements in Roll-lvleasu'rere, ol,e which the following is a speeiieatifm.
This invention relates to roll nieusurers, the object in view being to provide, a roll of fabric, such aslwire fencing, with a permafnently attached graduated measuring tape, whereby in dispensing the fabric or wire fencing the proper length thereof may be determined by referring to the attac-hed measuring tape, thereby greatly Vlaeilitaling the`work of the retailer.

In the drawings: Figure l is a perspective view of a section of wire feneing, showing the present` invention applied thereto. Fig, 2 is a longitudinal section through the same on the line 2--2 of Fig. i.
Referring to the drawings, '.l. designates a section of fabric, such as wire l'enring` the same being usually shipped in rolle and requiring to be measured off with a tape line or rule of some kind, in order lo dispense the number of feet required.
In carrying out the present invention, in the preferred form thereof, I employ a tape line 2 which extends lengthwise o'l the .fabric, as illustrated in Figs. l and 2, said tape line embodying two plies or thicknesses 3 and 4, one or both of which is graduated. as shown at 5, er in other words laid ofi' in leet und inches or any other measuring Symbole.
